September News

‘Rise’ Website launch & Artist Harriet White at Motorcade/FlashParade.

Ingrid Chauvet, moved into studio M6 last year to start her now booming business, ‘RISE’ Consulting Structural Engineers.
Unusually she has chosen to share her daily working environment with artists and designers. In doing so, she is perhaps helping to break down the cultural divide that still exists between traditional engineering professions and the creative industries.
In September Ingrid will launch her website at Motorcade/FlashParade.
To run simultaneously with the launch, she is sponsoring a show of paintings in the gallery by BV artist Harriet White, recently selected for the BP Portrait awards touring exhibition.

MotorMouth was set up by Poppy Pitt as a sister group to London Based Engine chat chat run by Elizabeth Murton of Core Blimey Arts+Core Gallery, Depford, South East London.

It is an informal place to discuss work and get feedback from other artists, an opportunity for artists of any discipline to focus on the ideas, content and context of their work. Motor Mouth will run as a monthly event from the MotorcadeFlashparade Gallery as part of its regular programme. It is a small group with opportunities to present or just join the discussion.

The event is Free but booking is required as we limit the number of presenters, See the MotorMouth page on the Motorcade/Flashparade website for more details.

Please Contact Poppypitt@gmail.com if you would like to present at a MotorMouth session.

System History at MadeScapes

MadeScapes is proud to announce the second of its four exhibitions: System History.

System History draws together three artists who have considered the position
of humanity from within these urban-landscapes, from the physical to the virtual,
through the petro-plastic to the packaged and pixelated. Vibrant. Ecstatic. Eclectic.
Immediate.
